There are endless ways of developing your exercise programme to see health and fitness improvements and maintain interest and motivation. It is important that any programme is specific to your goals, that improvement is measurable, that your goals are agreed, achievable and realistic and that appropriate time frames are in place.
 
Programmes can be developed with a specific competition phase in mind. These could include:- A full football season; a 2-3 day tournament or event; a one off race or competition; or simply to continue to improve health and fitness and maintain interest in your training.
